Online Writing Labs (OWLs)
Purdue University Online Writing Lab
The Purdue University Writing Lab is one of the largest and most fully developed OWLs on the Web. It was founded in 1976 by Dr. Muriel Harris as a resource for Purdue writers. In an attempt to bring the Writing Lab to students no matter where they were, Dr. Harris and David Taylor started the world's first Online Writing Lab (OWL) in 1994.
Paradigm Online Writing Assistant 
An independent site with articles on all stages of the writing process, from coming up with an idea to editing the final draft. Articles include useful practice exercises.
Instructional Handouts (University of Wisconsin-Madison)

The University of Victoria's Hypertext Writer's Guide (University of Victoria)
