Developmental Reading Course Descriptions

Grayson County College offers a developmental reading program and a college reading program. Developmental Reading assists students whose current reading skills range somewhere between that expected of a seventh-grader and a high school senior. College Reading is a class suitable for freshmen and sophomores. It enhances the students' reading comprehension and critical thinking so that they may gain more success in their reading intensive courses, such as Anatomy and Physiology, American History, and General Psychology.
