9/18/2026 - Grayson College’s Dr. Dava Washburn among 13 leaders selected for statewide higher education working group

Grayson College Vice President of Instruction Dr. Dava Washburn has been selected as one of just 13 higher education leaders from across Texas to serve on a Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board working group charged with helping shape the future of bachelor’s degree pathways in the state.

8/19/2026 - Grayson College Welcomes visiting CREA Scientists to Vineyard

Grayson College's Viticulture & Enology program recently welcomed Dr. Walter Chitarra and Dr. Luca Nera of Italy's CREA – Council for Agricultural Research and Economics, Grapevine Biotechnology and Physiology Lab, as they collected grapevine wood samples from our vineyard for a nationwide study of Pierce's Disease. The researchers are evaluating endophytes within the wood samples as part of their work to better understand the disease.
