What is Cruise to Completion?

It is an incentive program that encourages student engagement by giving students the opportunity to win prizes for doing things that are proven to increase overall success in college.

Who is eligible?

Cruise to Completion is open to all Grayson College students who are enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in the current semester. Students muse be in good academic standing with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA and no major disciplinary violations.

I'm a Grayson Student! How do I register?

There is no enrollment process. You are already enrolled but you will accumulate points throughout the academic year that will increase your odds of winning.

How do I earn "points?"

Points are earned through reaching milestones in enrollment, GPA, visiting tutoring sessions, visiting writing lab and math hub, being a member of a student club and by signing in when you attend campus events with the Cruise to Completion QR Code. When you use the code, you will be taken to your MyViking portal where your attendance will be logged. Points will accumulate from Oct. 31 until Apr. 26. The number of points you accumulate determines the number of entries you receive.

What if I attend a Cruise to Completion event but forget to sign in?

There will be plenty of other opportunities to attend events that will help increase your odds of winning.

How do I win?

Bases on the number of points accumulated for entries, students will be entered into the drawing, which will be help in late April or early May. Students may only win one prize per academic year.

Do I have to be present at the drawing to win?

No you do not have to be present to win.

What can I win?

There will be a MacBook, credit toward paying your tuition and fees and other fabulous prizes!

I graduate in December. Am I still eligible?

Students are only eligible while currently enrolled at least part time as a GC student at the time of the drawing.

I am a dual credit student. Am I still eligible?

What's the catch?

There is no catch! Grayson College wants to reward students for doing the right things.
