Center for Workplace Learning

Whether you want to start a new career, change careers, or update your current skills, the Center for Workplace Learning (CWL) has programs to meet your goals. These programs will help you learn the skills and get the credentials you need to get into the workforce. 

Registration for continuing education classes is on a continuous basis, and completed in many ways. 

In person

Visit the CWL during regular business hours. The CWL is accessed most easily through the West Entrance to the GC Main Campus.

Types of Programs and Classes

  • The CWL is home to the college's non-credit offerings. These courses include:

  • Hobby courses for personal enrichment

  • Professional development seminars and training

  • T.E.A.M.S. for retired adults looking for interesting topics and fellowship, and

  • Youth courses throughout the summer.

  • Persons interested in 'auditing' a regular college credit course may enroll through the CWL and by-pass all of the state-required admissions and document submissions.

  • The CWL is also home to customized training for our area business and industry partners.
