Will include all Six Pathways, AEL, GED, & Citizenship completions.

All students will be integrated into one of the Six Pathways accordingly.

Graduation Application and Commencement Ceremony RSVP

To apply for graduation and RSVP for the Summer Commencement Ceremony, please visit MyViking. Before submitting your application, we recommend scheduling a meeting with our Completion Coordinator, Makayla McMorris, to verify your Grad Check. You can book an appointment using the Completion Coordinator Appointment Calendar.

The Spring Graduation Application and RSVP period has now closed as of March 19th, 2025. We will not be accepting any further applications.

If you submitted your application before the deadline, a communication was sent to the email address provided on your Graduation Application, as well as your Viking email, on April 4th, 2025. If you have any questions beyond that communication, please feel free to email Graduation [at] grayson [dot] edu

The Summer Graduation Application and RSVP will open in MyViking on January 20, 2025 and will close on June 2, 2025. To ensure on time processing and participation in the Graduation Ceremony, please be sure to submit your application through MyViking by June 2, 2025.

Important Information:

  • Applicants will receive emails throughout the Spring & Summer semesters with further details about the Commencement Ceremony.
  • A reception will be held immediately following each ceremony for all graduates, friends, and families. Additional information will be provided as the Commencement date approaches.

    1. Navigate to the MyViking Student Planner.
    2. Select the correct term in the top-right term dropdown. (Spring or Summer)
    3. From the home dropdown menu, select Graduation Application
    • January 20, 2025 - Spring Graduation application & RSVP form available in the Student Planner home drop-down menu.
    • March 19, 2025 - Final deadline to submit the Spring graduation application and RSVP form, have the opportunity to order regalia, and participate in commencement.
    • April 3, 2025 - Communication has been sent out to Students who Applied for Spring Graduation and are Eligible. Please refer to your Viking Email and/or the Email put on your Graduation Application. 
    • Regalia & Ticket Pick Up - April 23, 2025 - May 2, 2025
    • Extra Tickets if Available - Communication will be sent out the week of May 5, 2025
    • May 9, 2025 - Spring Campus Wide Commencement Day! Scheduled for 9 am - GED, Arts & Humanities, Industrial Technologies, STEM, 12 pm - Business & Entrepreneurship, Public Services, and 3 pm - Health Science
    • January 20, 2025 – Summer Graduation application & RSVP form available in the Student Planner home drop-down menu.
    • June 2, 2025 – Final deadline to submit the Summer graduation application and RSVP form, have the opportunity to order regalia, and participate in the commencement ceremony. Late accommodations will be limited to the availability of extra regalia and will end on July 11, 2025, or while supplies last.
    • July 25, 2025 – Campus Wide Commencement Day! Tentatively scheduled for 10 am.
  • Allow up to six business weeks following the end of the completed semester, including mini terms.

  • You will receive one complimentary diploma per award.

  • Fill out the Replacement Diploma form. There is a $25 fee, which can be paid by contacting our Business office at 903-463-8718 or visiting in person at the Student Affairs Building.

    Please attach your receipt from the Business office to the form. If your fee was waived, please attach the email from the Graduation office in place of the receipt.

    Once we receive your form and payment confirmation, we will process your request. Please allow up to two weeks for processing.
