Internal Review Board (IRB)

The purpose of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) is to ensure that all research conducted on this campus or about this campus and its employees and students is approved by the Institutional Review Committee prior to conducting the research.  Researchers shall submit the IRB application packet directly to the office of planning, research, assessment and accreditation for approval by the IRB committee.

Membership for the IRB Committee shall consist of the following members:
·              The director of planning, research, assessment, and accreditation (chairperson); and 
·              Four members (three faculty and one staff).

The vice president of instructional services shall serve as an ex officio voting member.  The chairperson shall assemble the committee upon receiving applications.
