Prepare for College

The best way to prepare for college is to start now.

You must submit college readiness scores or proof of exemption/waiver as part of your application. The Texas Success Initiative, or TSI is a state requirement that students demonstrate college readiness in reading, writing, and math before taking college-level credit classes.
The Texas Legislature requires that all incoming Texas college students must receive a vaccination or booster against bacterial meningitis. You can register and pay for classes while you complete the requirement. However, your meningitis paper must be reviewed and approved before your tuition payment deadline, or you will be dropped from classes without notice.
