Description
The CWL's permit preparation course provides the preparation portion of the Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) program. This course alone does not result in full training for, or licensure for a CDL; in order to receive your CDL through our program, you must take this course in conjuncture with CVOP 1013 or another approved course option. All courses operate Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm in our Career and Technology Center, Room 117. Unless otherwise stated on the individual listing, this schedule applies.

Requirements
To enroll in this program, you must meet specific prerequisites:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Possess a valid Texas driver's license
- Have a clean driving record and no outstanding judgements
- Pass the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) physical exam.
- Apply for prequalification. Once we have received your information you will be sent a confirmation email which will enable you to register and pay for your course.
