Description
By combining classroom instruction with hands-on application, this course offers students a solid understanding of the regulations, procedures, and best practices necessary to operate drones safely and legally for commercial purposes. Actual drones will be used in the course as well as a simulator. Upon successful completion of the FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License Preparation Course, students will have the knowledge and confidence to take the knowledge test. Students will learn how to go about registering their drones and to register for the test. Students do not need their own drone for the course but they will use actual drones provided for them. Students who have registered drones may bring theirs. This course is suitable for agriculture, real estate, inspections, manufacturing, public service, the entertainment industry and the average hobbyist.
