Discover the life, legacy, and untapped potential of the man who helped shape the foundation of the United States.
  • Lecture - Ireland: Saints, Sinners and Shamrocks: The lively and historical culture of the Emerald Isle is known throughout the planet as Irish have settled in multiple nations and shared their love of living. Learn more about the homeland through its geography, flora, fauna and most importantly, its people. Ireland also serves, unfortunately, as an example of political, religious and economic conflict.
  • Lecture - London: Aspects of A City: As a major world capital, London exhibits all facets of a city. These same facets can be found in cities everywhere, including Sherman. This interactive presentation will highlight how cities impact our lives. We will consider cities as political centers, meccas of museums, seats of learning, religious headquarters and most importantly, home.

  • Field Trip - the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History: Located in the heart of Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is your gateway to engaging, educational, and exciting experiences. Our mission is to engage diverse communities through creative and vibrant programs and exhibits that interpret science and the rich stories of Texas and the Southwest. One of the favorites of the museum is the Noble Planetarium, shows are free with admission.
