Are you a parent or an expectant parent? Grayson Cares Family Program would like to support you in caring for your children.
The Grayson Cares Family Program at Grayson College supports our students who are parents by offering free Family Care supplies and services.
Family Cares Supplies
Gain access to our inventory of free Family Care items:
- Car seats
- High chairs
- Booster Seats
- Play pens
- Safety gates
- Formula
- Diapers (variety of sizes)
- Female and infant hygiene items
- Bicycle helmets
- Fire alarms
- CO2 detector
Other Services
- Housing Stipend
- Medical, Dental, and Vision
- Transportation (auto repairs if applicable)
- Transportation Fuel Vouchers
- Childcare
If you need anything not currently listed in our Grayson Cares Family Care Program, please let us know. The program may be able to purchase the item for you.
Family Care Support Services
Parents who apply and are approved for the Grayson Cares Family Program receive support from caring Grayson College staff, including a Success Coach, Professional Licensed Counselor, and Academic Tutoring. These dedicated staff work together to provide each parent with individualized Family Care and support services.
Requirements
To be eligible for Grayson Cares Family Care Program through Grayson College, you must:
- Be a parent or expectant parent
- Be registered for the current semester
- Be in need of financial assistance
- Take at least three credit hours for your program of study
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and be in good standing with the college
