Grayson Colleges welcomes Kevin Nugent

Nugent, a Master Peace Officer, has over twenty years of experience in law enforcement and most recently served as the Sergeant of the Criminal Investigation Division at Spring Branch ISD Police Department in Houston, Texas. While there, he led a team of investigators to investigate criminal and administrative investigations and served as the Emergency Manager with neighboring law enforcement agencies and first responders.

“We are excited to have someone with this experience,” said Dr. Jeremy McMillen, Grayson College President. “Chief Nugent brings a new perspective and extensive knowledge to the position, and we look forward to his leadership.”

Nugent earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Houston- Downtown and a master’s degree in criminal justice, leadership and management from Sam Houston State University.  He also holds certifications as a Sexual Assault and Family Violence Investigator and Crime Prevention Inspector.
