Ashley Trevino has been named the Director of Success Initiatives at Grayson College

Ashley Trevino has been named the Director of Success Initiatives at Grayson College. She has been serving Grayson College as the Director of Adult Education and Literacy since 2015.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Business and Government and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration both from Texas Woman’s University.

While at Grayson College, Trevino, an experienced grant manager successfully managed a $3 million dollar federal adult education grant, overseeing funding allocation, program implementation and compliance, led a team of 150 employees, formed strong relationships with key stakeholders, developed training modules for staff, provided mentorship and much more.

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Ashley for the past several years,” Vice President of Instruction Dr. Dava Washburn said. “I have found her to be thoughtful, intentional and thorough. In this new role, she brings depth of experience working with large scale programs that will amplify student success initiatives at Grayson College.”

Trevino’s work in higher education earned her an Employer Partnership Award from the Texas Workforce Commission in 2019 and the title of  Administrator of the Year in 2022 by the Texas Association of Adult Education.

Trevino is a 19-year resident of Anna, and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her two sons, family and friends.
