Ashley Trevino Named Dean of Instructional Services
Ashley Trevino has been appointed as the Dean of Instructional Services. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a focus on Business and Government and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, both from Texas Woman’s University.
Trevino has been an integral part of the Grayson College team for 15 years. Since May 2024, she has served as the Director of Success Initiatives at Grayson College, where her efforts focused on enhancing compliance, operational efficiency and collaboration.
Before stepping into her role as Director of Success Initiatives, Trevino was a seasoned grant manager, successfully overseeing a $3 million federal adult education grant, managing funding allocation, program implementation and compliance. She also led a team of 150 employees, cultivated relationships with key stakeholders, developed training programs for staff and provided mentorship as the Director of the Adult Education program.
“I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with Ashley over the past several years and have consistently found her to be exceptionally thoughtful, deliberate and thorough in her work,” Grayson College President Dr. Jeremy McMillen said. “In her new role, she brings an impressive depth of expertise in overseeing large-scale programs, which will significantly strengthen and expand student success initiatives at Grayson College, driving meaningful outcomes for the institution and its students.”
Trevino’s contributions to higher education have earned her notable recognition, including the Employer Partnership Award from the Texas Workforce Commission in 2019 and the title of Administrator of the Year in 2022 by the Texas Association of Adult Education.
A resident of Anna for 19 years, Trevino enjoys spending her free time with her two sons, as well as with family and friends.
